Two Walnut Grove students presented workshops at the Region 10 Leadership Training on September 9 at Republic High School. Daryl Smith, Region 10 Reporter and Historian, presented a workshop on the STAR Event Teach and Train. Daryl shared her project that made it to Nationals and tips for students interested in competing in the upcoming year. Carisa Gillmore also presented a workshop on her event from Nationals, Applied Technology. Carisa shared her portfolio and video with students to give them ideas for the STAR Events project. Ms. Price, Walnut Grove advisor, presented a workshop on Parliamentary Procedure to both students and advisors. Regional Officers Haley Harman, Region 10 Second Vice President, and Cheyenne Harman, Region 10 Recreation Leader, assisted the speakers with their sessions.
