Four Walnut Grove students presented workshops at the Region 10 Leadership Training on September 15 at Republic High School. Daryl Smith, Region 10 Recreation Leader, and Haley Harman, Region 10 Reporter, presented a workshop on Applied Technology and Promote and Publicize Events. The girls shared ideas for projects and tips for students interested in competing in the upcoming year.
Cheyenne Harman, Region 10 Historian, and Kaleb Killingsworth also presented a workshop on the basics of Parliamentary Procedure. Both students have competed at the state level on parliamentary procedure contest teams. Ms. Price, Walnut Grove advisor, presented a workshop on integrating technology into the classroom for advisors.
